How To Remain Focused On Your Business Plan & Goals
A lot of people in our industry are very impatient when they first start out. Impatience can be a good thing when you use it to drive you and get you to focus and produce results quicker than you would have had you not have had that desire…
But it must be controlled and directed very well so that you do not become destructive…
You get two types of people: those that are impatient in the beginning and more patient and more willing to see it through to completion as time goes by because they understand that all that they have invested is going to pay off sooner or later.
And those that give up when they don’t see the results they wanted when they wanted them.
If you are the first type then you will go very far in life and your setbacks will actually help you because when you don’t get what you want when you want it you’ll get the opportunity to learn more about why you didn’t get it when you wanted it, and you get to become an expert and help other people achieve the thing that you wanted to achieve as quickly as you wanted to achieve it:-)
If you are the second type then you will go through life jumping from one thing to the next, always looking for a better deal, until one day you wake up and realize that all of the people that you know that are successful have achieved success because their parents helped them or they stuck at something for long enough to succeed in it.
If you persevere you can achieve anything you want, no matter what it is you can achieve it if you persevere.
This is because the first time you do something you are an amateur, you are clueless you are inexperienced and you have to copy someone or use a book or manual of some sort to get you going till you can remember how to do it properly.
Most people don’t like to do things that they are not good at once they grow up, they think that it’s embarassing if they do something and they don’t know how to do it well if they are over the age of sixteen!
That’s why so few people really succeed in life!
This is ludicrous! This is why children are often so much better at mastering new skills than adults, not because it’s easier for them, but because they know that they have to practice before they can become good at something.
No matter what way you look at it you have to practice more than everyone else to be the best at anything, and the person with the most passion who practices the most and dedicates themselves to the task WINS!
This is true of football, all sport, computer programmers, make up artists, chess players, dentists, painters, seminar speakers, YOU NAME IT!
What do Anthony Robbins Margaret Thatcher, Bob Proctor, Susan Jeffers and Dani Johnson all have in common?
Answer: The ability to persevere with or without reward! They all encountered obstacles on the way to success, many of them…. but they kept going, imagine where they’d be now if they did what most people do and gave up…
Practice makes perfect, practice can make a good person fabulous and a rubbish person fabulous if they believe in themselves enough to stick at it
We have been conditioned to believe that we are good at some things and bad at others and that’s just the way it is!
That is a VERY lazy way of looking at things.
Whatever you want to do just remember YOU CAN DO IT!
Through continuous perseverance and training.
Don’t look for reasons why things can’t be done, look for one reason why something can be done and get cracking.
To Your Success;-)
