It may have been against the rules to copy what your classmate was writing on his test during exams. But when it comes to copying the steps taken towards obtaining results we have a different approach.

Would you like to experience the same successful results someone you know of has? People like Donald Trump and Thomas Edison can certainly be said to have experienced things in life that many of us only dream of. Donald and Thomas may seem a little distant, so let’s choose people a little closer to you.

How about your 35 year old Uncle with success in his finances and relationships? This man is practically like a father to you. He lives in a half of-a-million-dollar home and never looks at prices. Chances are you admire is current state of affairs.

By asking these people how they got to where they are, and replicating the actions they took, you can obtain the same results they have. Tony Robbins talks a lot about this in his book Unlimited Power.

The past 10 years have been a results-oriented economy. No one wants anything that does not give them results as soon as possible. Today we have a new twist when we think of replicating someone’s actions. Instead of replicating what they have done, we condense the time frame and intensify the quality of actions being taken.

For example, I admire Farrah Gray, a mid-twenty year old businessman who achieved successful results in starting businesses when we was 14 years old. How did Farrah Gray get to this point?

He had one really good mentor named Roi Tauer. Roi encouraged Farrah to take on big challenges at a very young age. I see having a mentor is very important-particularly a mentor who has achieved the results I would like to see in my life.

Getting a mentor does not have to take 2 years. You can make a few phone calls this afternoon to people like Jack Canfield, Bob Proctor or your uncle and ask them if they wouldn’t mind being your mentor. Tell them it will only require a 5 minute phone call from you once a week.

As an entrepreneur, Farrah would learn about a new business by reading all the books at the bookstore on a given topic. We are talking 20-30 books. By doing the same thing I can learn everything there is to know about a venture (or adventure) I am getting myself into before I take the first step.

Reading books takes about 1/3 the time we think it does. Keep these points in mind next time you foresee having a lot of reading to do:

•    Considering buying audio books so you can listen to them when you are traveling to and from work.

•    Just because you started reading a book does not mean you have to finish it. If you know the material and it is boring, move on to something more interesting that complements your interests.

I am creating a system out of the good fortune I observe in other people. You can do this with anyone. You need to study how they accomplished the results they have today, and find a way you can replicate their actions in your own style.

By building upon each other’s strengths, we can actually get somewhere faster instead of reinventing the wheel each time we want to do something.

The Power of Books to Transform Your Life

I was listening to “America’s Success Coach”, Jack Canfield, recently and he told a story that reminded me of Bob Proctor’s “333 Story” from his international bestseller “You Were Born Rich”. In summary, the “333 Story” is a great example of what you can achieve when you make a firm decision and remain open to possibilities rather than focus on obstacles.

Jack Canfield recounted that while he was in Atlanta promoting his book, “Success Principles: How to get from where you are to where you want to be”, that he was interviewed by a woman who said his publisher had sent her two copies of his book. She read one and gave the second copy to her brother who had been unemployed for three years. He was depressed and refused to venture out.

Well three weeks later her brother had finished the book. He shaved, put on a suit and attended three job interviews. Just three days later he was offered a job. Just writing about this gives me goose bumps. Books indeed have the power to transform your life.

It was novelist, journalist and poet, Christopher Morley who said:

“When you give someone a book, you don’t give him just paper, ink,

I understand my current life clearly as a culmination of all my thoughts, feelings and actions I’ve had to date. Practicing the Law of Attraction is not a new concept for me. I was first introduced to God’s natural law all my life by the Bible and later reinforced by authors like Napoleon Hill, Wayne Dyer and Neal Donald Walsh. Simply put, “The kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Whatever you focus most of your attention on in life is exactly what is manifested in your outward experience.

We are spiritual beings having physical experiences. It took me a while to understand that every thought, negative or positive, is a creation, a prayer to the Universe (God). Depending on the degree of focus we give these thoughts, certain things become beliefs, which either manifest positive things or severely limit our lives.

I am made in the “Image and likeness of God,” a perfect manifestation of Him. God’s entire plan for me is one of complete and total “Well Being.” When Well Being is being manifested in my life, I feel really good. When I am blocking my “Well Being,” life becomes, sad, depressing and very difficult. Both of these contrasting experiences are as a result of what I think and especially what I’ve come to feel and believe. As a spiritual being, I am constantly seeking my connection with Well Being by daily prayer and conversation with God, declaring what I desire from the Universe and checking in constantly with my feelings and emotions.

I have learned to create my life. We are in complete control of all our outward experiences. Whatever I desire from God and His Universe, I first of all have to declare it according to His natural law. We are all great at declaring, because our entire life experiences, including the ones we are having today, started as a conscious or subconscious thought. The next step that happens is that God not only acknowledges my intentions, they are all answered without exception. The next step is where it becomes tricky and where most of us have problems manifesting. This step is another natural law called The Law of Allowing.

We are all ‘vibrational’ beings, meaning that through our thoughts and actions, we are always communicating our needs to the Source from which everything flows (God). However, in order to experience our desires that God has already provided for us, we must ‘allow’ it to become a part of our physical experience. To do so, we must be in harmony with those desires. We must spend as much time as possible feeling exactly how we would if we were experiencing those desires in the here and now. The Universe will then begin to match those good feelings and send to us the people, places and things we need to manifest those experiences in our outward life.

Subsequently, as things begin to line up and we become inspired, we must take action and act on those inspirations immediately. We must not find ways and reasons to disallow our dreams. We must commit to making our desires manifest into our physical experiences as God provides them. Do not let apprehension and anxiety hold you back, God will continue to provide the way and all that you will need. Concentrate at all times on the positive end result, not the conditions that you don’t want. Energy will flow where your attention goes and the Law of Attraction will grant exactly that which you focus on and that includes the negatives. Always remain with and feel positive about the end result of what you desire in life as often as you can.

It is also very important to be grateful in life. The more we are grateful for on a daily basis, the more abundance God will supply us. Wake up every morning and before getting out of bed, give thanks with corresponding feeling for what you have. Be genuine about it. There are many things that I am grateful for…I love my life! Being grateful and happy is an inside job and no one else’s. To be happy is to be connected with God, because Well Being is your birthright. According to the author of “Conversations with God,” Neal Donald Walsh, “SATAN is Seeing Any Thing As Negative.” Therefore, make happiness your #1 priority and you will always be on the receiving end of positive God Energy.

During visualization, one common problem people question themselves is: “ If I am not rich and successful now, how can I lie to myself and imagine that I am rich and successful?”

I must tell you that visualization works regardless of your current reality. This is because your sub-conscious mind cannot tell the difference between reality and your imagination.

That is why in The Secret movie, Bob Proctor said if you see it (your dreams) in your eyes, you will hold it in your hands.

Whilst visualization is powerful and it can bring you wealth, the opposite is also true. For most people, they think about those events, which they observe most. So if they are always observing negative events, they tend to think how unlucky they are. And these thoughts create more negative events in their life.

So how do you get visualization to work for you rather than against you? This article provides you with some five secrets in visualization: -

(1) Practice

Repetition is the key to success in acquiring any new skills. You have to practice your visualization skills. The good new is the more real your visualization, the more effective you will achieve what you desire.

(2) See Yourself as Third Person

Imagine you are watching a movie in your mind. You are the lead actor or actress in this movie. You are viewing your life as a third person.

The key here is when you visualize behind your eyes; your mind treats it as a memory. Memory gets programmed into your subconscious mind and you will begin to form a belief that this memory is true.

(3) Put Emotions into Your Dream

Whatever your dream, always and always feel what you are visualizing. Of course, the emotions you attached to your visualization must be positive vibration.

Remember, thoughts alone cannot manifest your dream into reality. The formula to your prosperity = Thoughts plus Positive Emotions

(4) Increase Color and Brightness of a Wanted Scene

You can increase the color and brightness when you visualize the scene, which you have positive emotion about.

(5) Desensitize an Unwanted Scene

If a bad scene pops up, change the scene to black and white. This will help to decrease the negative emotions you feel towards the scene.

When writing points 4 and 5, I recalled a personal experience, which I like to illustrate how these 2 points serve in visualization.

I used to be afraid of cats. I really did not know the reason since cats did not bite me when I was young. My fear of cat is so strong that I could hear my heart pumping fast and loud even when I saw cats at a distance.

One day, I decided to use visualization to remove my fear of cats. What I did was I visualized a scene whereby cats are walking towards me. Immediately, I feel fearful.

Next, I decreased the color and brightness of the scene to black and white before I minimized the scene such that it only occupied the left hand corner of my mind.

Finally, I visualized a scene whereby cats are walking near to me. After feeling comfortable with cats, I imagine myself bending down and stroke a cat with my hands. At this point, I increased the color and brightness of the scene.

After one visualization exercise, I am now absolutely comfortable of walking near to cats. Isn’t this amazing?

Now that you are also aware of the secrets in visualization, you can apply them in areas of your life which you want to visualize into reality.

Ten Ways to Re-motivate yourself

The past few weeks have been sort of unproductive for me, mostly because of certain distractions that for the most part were beyond my control (scheduling problems, personal things that needed attention, the usual). Now I look back and say “how could let myself do this?” I feel as if I accomplished very little, and it’s time to buckle down again, put nose to the grindstone, and get some serious work done! But, how do I do it?

What I need is a way to get “super-motivated”, so I came up with a list of ways to really pile on the motivation. I came up with 10 pretty good ones, most of which I already was utilizing at least some of the time. Let me know if you have some more, I’m always trying to extend this list!

#1 – Change your routine - wake up earlier and be more productive. I usually try to get up at least one hour before l must leave for work, in order to do some quick exercises, go over my plan for the day, and make sure I’m ready to rock n’ roll first thing. I like to change this routine occasionally, so I don’t get in a rut. Even making an extra 20-25 minutes to prepare can leave you in a better mood to start the day.

#2 – Listen to motivational audio on the way to work. Or, if you work at home as I do sometimes, listen as you get ready to work. There are many motivational CD recordings out there, I use ones from Brian Tracy, Tony Robbins, or Bob Proctor, but there are many good ones out there.

#3 – List to inspirational music! I don’t know about you, but nothing gets my blood pumping faster than great music that I love, such as some good Eric Clapton, Green Day, or other hard rock. But anything you have an emotional connection with will work, it’s like magic to pick up your mood.

#4 – Utilize self-talk or affirmations. I do a whole list of affirmations in the mornings, and usually at night as well. But any kind of positive self-talk can really motivate you if used correctly, it’s what you say to yourself that makes the difference.

#5 – Stay away from negative people. This may sound kind of cruel or unkind, but hey, let’s be honest. If you any friends that are really bringing you down, you must either let them know about it and hope they change, or stay away. Life is too short to hang around negative people, and don’t’ think it won’t affect you because eventually it will!

#6 – Take a positive action. Think about what you have been meaning to start, or stop recently. Something you have been putting off, maybe? Take that trip to the gym, start that new diet, finish that book you started 6 months ago, anything really. Just taking a positive direction towards something makes you feel more in control of things, which boosts your self-confidence and self-esteem.

#7 – Start an exercise routine. Ok, I kind of covered this in the last point but it’s really important. This is critical to your physical and mental health, exercise is not an option it is a mandate. If you exercise regularly you will automatically add many years to your life and improve your outlook on life.

#8 – Try zero-based thinking. This is a simple but powerful concept to change your thought process. Is there anything in your life that you would stop doing, looking at the big picture? If you had to go back and do it again, would you? This can apply to a business, a hobby, a girlfriend/boyfriend, a choice you made on something that takes your time and energy. If you wouldn’t do it again, stop doing it now!

#9 – Reevaluate your schedule. Take a serious look at every little thing you do every day for a week. Are you wasting a significant amount of time doing something of little value? Either eliminate if from your life, or drastically cut down on this task or habit. Sometimes just rearranging your schedule can save you time as well, such as doing a “high-value” task early in the day while you’re wide awake and full of energy instead of after lunch when you’re tired.

#10 – Reward yourself. Sometimes it really helps to reward yourself after making a great effort. Why? Because psychologically a reward gives us a boost of pleasure after something that takes extra effort, which will encourage us to do it again. Sounds like “psyching” yourself out, right? Yes, you can fool yourself, although don’t take it to extremes or you will be doing more rewarding than working on moving forward.

These are just a few suggestions, I’m sure you can get creative and think of more. In fact I would encourage it! The more you can get in the habit of boosting your motivation, the more you will accomplish. In turn, you will boost your confidence in reaching the goals you have set for yourself and move faster and farther than you ever thought possible!

It will directly respond to how you feel about a particular situation. If you are feeling lack and scarcity of not having enough money, the law of attraction picks up your vibration of lack and responds with more lack and scarcity. That is the simple way, how the law of attraction work in your life.

The other reason why the law of attraction does not work in your life is the past conditioning and limiting beliefs you are holding about yourself, your capabilities and various aspects of your life. If you believe that you are not good enough to attract good things to your life, this will be a major stumbling block in your efforts to make the law of attraction work in your life. Most of these beliefs are not conscious to us and we may not be able to understand why a particular behavioral pattern is repeated in our life.

The most effective method to counter these beliefs and past conditioning is to have a quiet mind. Though it is easy said than done, it is not impossible. Could Self Affirmation Be The Key To Success?

Do you feel you understand the law of attraction but just don’t seem to be getting the things you desire? Are you frustrated? Do you manifest some things but not others? The truth is you most likely have not been taught the “key” principle to using law of attraction the way it was intended to be used and not the way most practitioners are currently teaching it.

You may have studied the law of attraction, read law of attraction books, and may have seen the movie “The Secret”. After all your study, you probably have applied each and every step you have learned but something isn’t working. Things aren’t appearing in your life as you expected.

Instead of happily manifesting everything you desire you find yourself frustrated. You start doubting yourself. You begin to feel as though you are doing it wrong or the law of attraction just doesn’t work.

Perhaps you are able to manifest some things here and there but cannot find that perfect combination to allow you to consistently bring to you those things you desire.

Here’s a news flash. There is a great lie behind using law of attraction as it has been traditionally taught. In “The Secret” you are led to believe you simply focus on a desire and “poof” it will appear into your life. This has misled many people. Many law of attraction teachers have been trained to teach law of attraction in this manner. It is not their fault; they just either don’t get it or have totally bought into the myth playing out in this fashion.

Whether you are able to manifest on a hit and miss scenario or not at all, the fault lies in the manner in which you have been taught about the law of attraction. The movie “The Secret” leads most people to assume that all you have to do is merely focus on those things you desire and they will eventually come into your life. A perfect example is the scene in which a woman gazes into a jewelry store window at a beautiful necklace. In another scene you see her wearing that very necklace. You are led to believe she simply focused on having that necklace and she manifested it into her life. That in itself will set you up for a major disappointment!

I spent thousands of dollars studying the law of attraction, taking classes, buying books, enrolling in teleseminars and all of them were telling me the same old song and dance. I have been able to manifest some great things but not on a consistent basis. There seemed to be a trend to my manifesting but I could not put my finger on it at first. I prayed and asked for guidance and after several long months, guidance came and so did the answer.

Through my recent studies, I learned that the law of attraction is not a physical law and is not based on quantum physics as is traditionally taught. The law of attraction is a spiritual law, freely given to all by God. It is based on love. Through this law we are given things (our desires) through serving others. If you are using the law of attraction strictly for your own personal gain, you will gain little to nothing from it. This is most likely why you have had this hit or miss type of manifesting experience.

Recently, I had someone ask me how to use the law of attraction in his life and business. Among the things he desired was a beautiful woman, a large house, wealth and many customers. I asked him what the goal and purpose behind his business was. His reply came very quickly. It was to make money. When we discussed how law of attraction works based on and serving others, which in this case would be his customers, his true desire was still focused on the end result which was the money. I recommended a book for him to read and suggested he do an exercise that would allow him to evaluate the goals he had for four areas of his life and the reasons for each of them. Focusing on his health, home, business, and relationships would hopefully give him some insight on what he wanted and why. Until he could move his focus onto serving others and away from himself and the money, he would have little success with using the law of attraction.

As long as your focus is strictly self serving, the law of attraction will offer you little in the way of generating your desires. You may see some greedy, self serving people who have wealth. Imagine how much wealthier they would be and how many great things they could have done if their focus had been on serving others instead of their own selves!

When you are in business and focusing on providing the best service possible to your customers, clients, patients, etc. you will manifest more customers, clients, patients, etc. which in turn will bring you greater income through the growth of your business. You will find your life transformed. There will be more joy in your day. You will gain referrals and opportunities will open to you that will offer greater expansion of your business, service, and income.

So, re-evaluate the current manner in which you are practicing the law of attraction. Are you using it as a self serving tool or as a means to help others? By helping to improve the lives of others, you will far exceed your manifestation expectations through the law of attraction.

Try it for yourself and see. You will love the results, and so will those you serve.
